Water Department Bills FAQ

Question: How do I dispute a bill?

Answer: If for any reason you believe your bill is wrong, you may file a dispute within 30 days of the billing date noted on the bill statement. Your dispute must be in writing explaining the amount you believe to be in error and the reason you believe there has been an error. You are responsible for all charges, even if the dispute has not yet been resolved. After the Water Department has reached a finding, you will be notified of the result and the account will be adjusted accordingly. Please be advised that the water/sewer bill will accrue interest if it is not paid by the due date stated on the bill, even if the bill is still under review.
