Question: How is the soil quality in the gardens?

Answer: Soil samples from the gardens have been tested by the UMASS Extension to determine the quality for planting, and for the presence of lead. For some of the gardens additional soil testing has been completed. The tests conducted indicate the soils are safe for gardening.
