Question: How can I obtain a copy of a fire report?

Answer: Most fire report copies are available at The Fire Department headquarters located at 266 Broadway at the corner of Walnut Street. This office is open during normal business hours, which are 8:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. Motor vehicle reports are only available from our fire investigator. He can be contacted by calling the Fire Department’s business number at 617-623-1700, and asking to be connected with the fire investigator. He will arrange a time and place to schedule an interview with you.
