Question: How do I dispose of yard waste?

Answer: Yard waste (grass clippings, hedge clippings, leaves and twigs) must be disposed of in either paper leaf bags or in barrels marked with “yard waste” stickers provided by the DPW at 1 Franey Road. They may be placed on the sidewalk on your regular trash day during yard waste weeks. The calendar for 2007 is available by clicking here.

Also, you may bring yard waste down to the DPW year-round, with proof of residency.
