Question: How do I volunteer time or make a donation to the public schools?

Answer: The District can always use volunteers to help support student learning! Specific short and long term volunteer opportunities are posted on the District Web site You are also welcome to contact Volunteer Coordinator Jennifer Capuano at 617-625-6600 x6023 or jcapuano@k12.somerville.ma.us. Volunteer applications can be downloaded directly from the SPS Web site

If you cannot give time but do want to make a gift of money or in-kind resources, please contact the District's Coordinator of R&D, Public Information and Grants, Gretchen Kinder, to learn more. Gretchen can be reached by e-mail at gkinder@k12.somerville.ma.us or by telephone at 617-625-6600 x6013. If you are interested in donating used computers or furniture, please know that the Somerville Public Schools has product specifications it needs to meet and will want additional information about the used technology or furniture before deciding if these items can be used by the schools.
